Manifesto of all Manifestos – Audrey Hale Must be Some Kind of Evil

It has been eight weeks since mass murderer Audrey Hale entered The Covenant School in Nashville, TN and killed three children and three adults. It’s been eight weeks since the Metro Nashville Police Department announced that Audrey Hale left behind a manifesto. It’s been approximately 6 weeks since the public was told that the FBI was reviewing the manifesto, and therefore it could not be released until federal agents finished their review.

The public has been told the writings left behind by Audrey Hale are so dark, disturbing, and dangerous that such prose should likely be concealed from the public. It’s been reported that a MNPD high-ranking official said Hale’s words “keeps him up at night”. Other reports claim Hale’s manifesto is so detailed that it’s a clear blueprint for other demented persons to carry out similar acts of domestic terrorism.

It’s all rubbish! Every excuse being given for denying the public what is rightfully theirs to see and understand; the thinking and motivations behind a mentally-ill transgender person entering a private Christian school she once attended, and opening fire, killing three 9-year-old students and three adults, is not information that should be withheld from the public.

Audrey Hale was shot dead inside The Covenant School. There is no pending trial. There’s no need to be concerned about tainting a jury pool. Even so, the government is still claiming its ongoing investigation as one of the reasons it cannot release the Audrey Hale manifesto.

It’s all hogwash! Numerous news organizations have sued the FBI and Department of Justice to gain access to the Audrey Hale manifesto. The FBI asserts that the writings of Audrey Hale are “located in an investigative file which is exempt from disclosure,” pursuant to 5 U.S.C. § 552(b)(7)(A). It claims the release of the manifesto could “reasonably be expected to interfere with [law] enforcement proceedings.” The public would like to know how so, because that doesn’t make even the slightest sense. What “law enforcement proceedings” are there? The suspect is dead. Her house has been searched. All weapons have been recovered. What could possibly remain?

Police have reported that Hale legally purchased seven firearms from five local stores and used three of those weapons during her attack at the Christian school. It’s also been reported that the 28-year-old Hale was receiving treatment for an undisclosed mental illness. Hale operated alone. There are no other suspects. No shooter[s] at large. The case is solved. There is no reasonable explanation as to why the Audrey Hale manifesto must remain sealed away from public view.

It’s all political. Dangerous information is a mouse click away from anyone seeking such knowledge. How to kill. How to make bombs. How to torture. How to incite a riot. How to commit suicide. It’s all readily available on the Internet. Horror. Violence. Torture. Murder. Revenge. It’s all accessed with ease on any streaming service.

Other mass murderers have left behind manifestos. These writings from reproachable minds are easily found on the Internet. Somehow, they were not “scrubbed” away by the FBI and DOJ. Dylan Roof, Elliot Rodger, Seung-hui Cho, Christopher Dorner, Theodore Kaczynski, Jim David Adkisson, Jerad and Amanda Miller, along with Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, all left behind written explanations, justifications, and rationalizations for their murderous rampages. It is implausible that Audrey Hale was such a gifted writer that her words could be woven together so cleverly as to cause others to go out and kill Christians and conservatives in support of the LGBTQ community.

The withholding of Audrey Hale’s manifesto is solely political. It has nothing to do with public safety. If released, expect it to provide beneficial talking points and rebuttal content for conservatives to use in today’s culture wars with liberals. Anticipate that Hale’s manifesto will taint the LGBTQ movement as radicalized and a public safety threat. Expect it to alarm and offend Christians. Know that it will likely deepen the resolve of gunowners to fight and protect their right to bear arms. Understand that it’s likely the type of evidence the liberal press and political left goes out of its way to spin, discredit and quickly ignore.

A final thought…

It is a dangerous time for civil liberties when the government becomes the nation’s editor. The notion that a government branch, department, or agency can use the “we don’t comment on ongoing investigations” as a way to conceal information it would rather the public not see is communistic. It’s also the reason why the DOJ has so many ongoing investigations. Case in point: Hunter Biden. These “investigations” have been dragging on for years for no good reason other than to continue to deny public access to information. Being forced to sue the government to get information such as the Audrey Hale manifesto is not acceptable. A solution will have to be created legislatively, if lawmakers can do so without making matters worse.
