RESOLUTION: Censoring and Condemning Congressman Adam Schiff

Adam Schiff is whining about the effort underway by his colleagues to censure and condemn him. He deserves to be removed from office. What Adam Schiff put President Trump through was devilish and despicable. It was also criminal. H. RES. 489 contains undeniable facts. But like most every other democrat scurry about the House floor today, “undeniable facts” are Adam’s favorite facts to deny.

The Republicans cannot not blink. The conservatives must see this through. Any Republican who votes against H. RES. 489 will not enjoy the blowback he or she receives. It will serve them right.

If there are any honest democrats that place principles first, they should vote in favor of this resolution.

Twenty Republicans voted with Democrats in favor of the motion to table: Reps. Kelly Armstrong (N.D.), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (Ore.), Juan Ciscomani (Ariz.), Tom Cole (Okla.), Warren Davidson (Ohio), Brian Fitzpatrick (Pa.), Kay Granger (Texas), Garret Graves (La.), Thomas Kean Jr. (N.J.), Kevin Kiley (Calif.), Young Kim (Calif.), Mike Lawler (N.Y.), Thomas Massie (Ky.), Tom McClintock (Calif.), Mark Molinaro (N.Y.), Jay Obernolte (Calif.), Mike Simpson (Idaho), Mike Turner (Ohio), David Valadao (Calif.) and Steve Womack (Ark.).

The fine of $16 million is what tripped up Republicans. Thomas Massie (Ky.) said, “Adam Schiff acted unethically but if a resolution to fine him $16 million comes to the floor I will vote to table it. (vote against it).” Massie added, “The Constitution says the House may make its own rules but we can’t violate other (later) provisions of the Constitution. A $16 million fine is a violation of the 27th and 8th amendments.”

Congresswoman Luna told Adam Schiff that she intends to revise her effort with a new resolution next week that will “pass”.

The House of Representatives voted Wednesday (June 21, 2023) to censure Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for pushing claims that former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign colluded with Russia — a vote that made Schiff just the third member of the House to be censured since the turn of the century.

The resolution passed 213-209 in a vote — every Republican voted for it except for six who voted “present,” and every Democrat voted against it. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/adam-schiff-censured-house-false-allegations-trump-russia-collusion
