During a CBS’ 60 Minutes interview with Dan Rather in 2004, former President Clinton described his impeachment as “a badge of honor”.  Clinton was impeached on Dec. 19, 1998 by the House on charges of lying under oath and obstruction.  On Feb. 12, 1999, the Senate acquitted Clinton in a presidential impeachment trial.  Clinton considered his impeachment in the House of Representatives as a “badge of honor” because like Trump, he saw the entire episode in the House as a political sham.  Clinton said of it, “I didn’t quit; I never thought of resigning, and I stood up to it and beat it back. The whole battle was a badge of honor. I don’t see it as a stain, because it was illegitimate.”

In 1998, Nancy Pelosi was a mirror opposite of the 2019 Pelosi.  In opposition of the Clinton impeachment, Senator Pelosi said, “We are here today because the Republicans in the House are paralyzed with hatred … and until the Republicans free themselves of this hatred our country will suffer”.  How she is not repelled by her hypocrisy whenever she is confronted by her reflection is beyond comprehension.  It is true that we are here today because the democrats, lead by Pelosi, are paralyzed with hatred for President Trump. 

In 2000, Adam Schiff defeated James Rogan to become a congressman from California.  Rogan was instrument in the House impeachment of Clinton in 1998.  The Clinton machine sought to get even and defeat the Republicans House impeachment managers in the 2000 elections.  President Clinton even held a fundraiser for Schiff in Washington D.C.  A fundraiser for a single candidate for the House of Representatives by the President of the United States is an unusual event.  These types of fundraisers are normally reserved for incumbents.  Schiff defeated Rogan 53 to 44 percent, cementing his allegiance to the Clinton’s. Consequently, Schiff’s secret tribunal in the dungeon of the people’s House is driven by his Clinton loyalty and blinding bewilderment that Hillary lost to Trump. 

While no official, legal, meaningful impeachment process has begun; while no indictment has been issued against President Trump; while there is nothing occurring except Schiff’s secret interviews that amount to potential witness tampering; the liberal media continues to run headlines with the words impeachment and impeachment inquiry in the heading, providing the intended grand illusion that Trump did something that clears the high crimes and misdemeanor bar.  These coconspirators, in their effort to overthrow the Trump Administration, are succeeding in convincing the less than attentive news consumer that the impeachment of President Trump is underway. 

 The list of attacks waged against the Trump Administration is laughable if they were not so persistent.  The latest scheme is centered on Trump saying this to President Zelenskyy of the Ukraine:

 The other thing, There’s a lot of talk about Biden’s son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it… It sounds horrible to me.

 The democrats have turned themselves inside out with fake outrage and indignation over this part of the Trump / Zelenskyy phone call.  They claim this is proof positive that Trump has once again, even though he didn’t before, asked a foreign country, (Aren’t all other countries foreign?) to meddle, interfere, and influence our elections…just like the Russians did / did not in 2016.  What democrats are not saying, what former Vice-President Biden is not saying is – so what.  Here’s the thing.  If Vice-President Biden and Hunter Biden have nothing to hide in the Ukraine, or China, or Timbuktu – why should they care if Trump / Zelenskyy look for wrongdoing?  If there is nothing there, they will find nothing – right? 

 How can any thoughtful patriotic American take this Schiff / Pelosi charade seriously?  He or she cannot – plain and simple.  If, and that’s a big IF, Pelosi moves forward with a real impeachment vote, Trump will be acquitted in a New York minute by the U.S. Senate.  Schiff’s secret witnesses will be discredited upon cross-examination.  Trump will look like a victim of leftist vengeance and malicious prosecution on national television – guaranteeing his re-election.  Schiff will have the teeth knocked out of his suck and Pelosi will be blamed for the failed coup d’é·tat.  Righteousness will prevail in the land of milk and honey once again.

 And for this reason, and thousands of others, Donald Trump should welcome impeachment as proof that he is thwarting the leftists that seek to take away liberty, property, and prosperity from the American people.  Today’s impeachment is a Badge of Honor for the President.  Trump, along with all of his supporters can quickly take back the power by embracing impeachment as crystal clear evidence of battles well fought and won.
