Hunter Biden was placed on the Burisma board and paid millions, some of which likely benefited the larger Biden family.

On April 16, 2014, Vice President Biden met with his son’s business partner, Devon Archer, at the White House. Five days later, Vice President Biden visited Ukraine, and he soon after was described in the press as the “public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.” The day after his visit, on April 22, Archer joined the board of Burisma. Six days later, on April 28, British officials seized $23 million from the London bank accounts of Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Fourteen days later, on May 12, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma, and over the course of the next several years, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were paid millions of dollars from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch for their participation on the board.

Turning a blind eye doesn’t relieve the burden of explaining why Burisma selected Hunter Biden to be a board member and consultant on legal affairs.  Considering the vast talent pool in Europe and the United States, no serious person can successfully argue that Hunter Biden was chosen based on his resume.  He was chosen because he was the son of the Vice-President.  And Mykola Zlochevsky expected a return on his investment.  It would be odd if he did not.  If this set-up doesn’t raise your suspicions, then you lack a healthy curiosity.

I believe Hunter Biden was a conduit for his father, in the Ukraine and elsewhere.  Joe took care of Hunter, and in return, Hunter took care of Joe.  Hunter was placed on the Burisma board and paid millions, some of which likely benefited the larger Biden family.  In exchange, Vice President Biden encouraged policy that was beneficial to Burisma and agreeable to Zlochevsky.  If Hunter was nowhere to be found in the Ukraine, this would all just be the intersection of business and politics.  But Hunter was in the Ukraine.  He was getting paid by Burisma at the exact same time his father, the Vice President, was setting new policy in the Ukraine. 

I hope we can still be friends.  I know how desperately you want to be rid of President Trump, but you picked the wrong horse.  You should have nominated Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.
