If the House of Representatives initiate the impeachment of President Trump, the Senate trial will result in acquittal.  The outcome will be a repeat of 1998 – 1999; the only difference being party affiliation.  In 1999, all 45 Democrat senators voted not guilty when deciding whether President Clinton committed perjury and obstruction of justice.  Even though the evidence against Clinton was rock hard, humping the party line prevailed over restoring the integrity of the White House.  Unless new evidence emerges against Trump, expect the majority, if not all republican senators, to vote not guilty if articles of impeachment are drafted by the House. 

The political theater that will play out between now and November 2020 will be unbearable to watch.  The fake outrage will be outrageous.  The truth will be pummeled and stretched beyond recognition.  Politicians from both sides of the chamber will put on their best faces when meeting the press to discuss what the definition of ‘is’, is.  Already CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, NY Times, Washington Post, etc…all the liberal media are dancing around with their naughty parts fully engorged with impeachment lust.

For example, twits like Mitt say they are “sickened” and “appalled” by the Mueller report details…yet another pose struck by a man plotting and planning his next run for the White House.  The New York Times opines that a ‘Darker portrait emerges of Trump’s attacks on the Justice Department’.  Interestingly, this headline could be reversed and still be true.  A Darker portrait emerges of the Justice Department’s attacks on Trump.  The fact is Trump was harassed by a dubious liberal media and a deep-state hell bent on proving that Trump was in cahoots with Russia.  Trump being Trump, he punched back – as the Trump Haters knew he would. 

 It is those counter-punches that the Democrats in the House of Representatives want to now call obstruction of justice.  This is so dastardly because the entire Russian collusion investigation was a set up from the start.  See FISA warrant, Steele dossier, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, John Brennan, James Clapper.  If the leftists on Capitol Hill, along with their unindicted co-conspirators in the liberal media, truly want to rid Washington of bad hombres, start with Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Brennan, and Clapper.

 The left insists the Mueller investigation was a ‘lawful’ investigation.  However there is enough evidence to suggest the entire investigation was launched under false pretenses.  Just because Trump Jr. met with a Russian that claimed she had ‘dirt’ on Hilary Clinton does not mean the Trump campaign team was colluding with the Russian government.  Russia has a population of 145 million people.  They’re not all Russian spies working for Vladimir Putin. 

What is truly sickening and appalling is watching Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) pedal possible impeachment while demanding the release of the Mueller Report, with no redaction. Nadler also wants all underlying materials.  In 1998, Nadler opposed the release of the full Starr Report.  He said it was “a matter of decency and protecting people’s privacy rights, people who may be totally innocent third parties…”  Now that it is a Republican in the White House, Nadler does not think protecting people’s privacy rights is important.  He wants the full Mueller Report.  It is this exact type of double-talking, two-faced, doublespeak that helped get Trump elected in 2016.  Unless Nadler has one of Putin’s blue blazers with a semen stain on it, he might want to rewind the tape some more, and embrace his hypocrisy.

If the Democrats think going through with the impeachment process will help them win the White House in 2020, they will go through with the process.  If they think holding hearings and talking to death the possibility of impeachment for the next 19 months will help them win the White House, talk away they will.  If they conclude that just moving on from the Mueller Report will help them win the White House in 2020, so they will.  Of all the options on the table for the Democrats in the House of Representatives, impeachment will likely help Trump the most. 

 Meanwhile, and most likely obscure from the media spotlight, Attorney General Barr is going to find the evidence that supports the truths regarding spying on the Trump campaign by the Obama Administration.  Hilary Clinton’s pardon by then Director of the FBI, James Comey is going to be finally investigated.  Who and how the Trump / Russian collusion fable began will become so apparent that even the liberal media will have to mention it briefly between pitting races and religions against each other. 

Headlines with words like slams in them will become more common.  Also headlines that end in question marks will be used more and more to insinuate and mislead.  If a person does something that threatens or harms another, whether the perpetrator is a Trump supporter will continue to be the most important part of the story.

 The USA Today wants its readers to believe that supporting Trump contributed to this suspect threatening to kill Democratic lawmakers more than Omar’s 9/11 comments.
