Democrats Should Resist Urges to Destroy Things
How long will it be until there are Trump protests nationwide turning violent? How long will it be until storefront windows are smashed and businesses looted because Donald J. Trump was elected the 47th President of the United States? How long will it be before other people’s property is vandalized and set on fire? How long will it be before the police are fighting back enraged mobs of agitators and anarchists who have infiltrated peaceful, lawful protests and incited enough people in the crowds to engage in unlawful conduct? How long will it be before outside forces are funding the public outrage on the left and providing them with material support such as we saw in the Summer of 2020? Who can forget those random pallets of bricks showing up along protest parade routes?
It would be awesome if cooler heads would prevail. But after nine years of the liberal media and politicians relentlessly badmouthing Trump, millions of Americans with busy lives and short attention spans have come to believe Donald Trump is a real and present danger to not only their wellbeing, but the wellbeing of mankind. I thought the only thing Trump has yet to be accused of being is the antichrist, but then I searched the Internet for “Trump antichrist” and found out I was wrong. There are people convinced that Trump isn’t just like Adolf Hitler, but that he’s the actual biblical antichrist. People are capable of anything when they believe such things. There are millions of Americans who believe what MSNBC and CNN have been telling them about Trump. Why wouldn’t these people take extraordinary actions to thwart what they believe to be Trump’s diabolical schemes?
It’s been three days since the election and already there have been protests in Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia. Heads have been too hot for too long to expect cooler heads to prevail. It’s not likely the fire is going to fizzle out. It’s going to spread much like it did in 2020. Calls to end ‘white supremacy’ while blaming Kamala Harris’s loss to Trump on her race and gender will kick the heat up enough to cause the pot of demonstrators to boil over. Ultra-liberal cities will bear the brunt of the damage. Bussed in “professional” demonstrators don’t care about that but many of the people in the crowds must live in the neighborhood they’re helping to destroy. It makes no sense but that’s what liberals do. One thing that can be said about the January 6th protestors who turned violent; at least they targeted their fury at what they were angry about instead of randomly destroying businesses in Washington DC.

The hatred for Trump is not going away even after he won the popular and electoral vote. The people who have been gunning for him for years are not going to give up now. Democrats in Congress such as Maryland’s Jamie Raskin have publicly stated how he plans to employ Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to prevent the certification of Trump’s election victory. He even acknowledges that such action will likely result in violence.

“Blue states” are already making public declarations proclaiming they are ready for a fight with Trump 2025. On Thursday November 7th California Governor Gavin Newsom announced he will convene a special session of the legislature to increase funding to California’s Department of Justice so they can prevent Trump from enforcing federal laws by tying up Trump 2025 in court. Newsom said in his proclamation, “The freedoms we hold dear in California are under attack — and we won’t sit idle.”
Just a quick reminder. Trump was elected three days ago, and the liberals are already blaring air raid sirens. When the Governor of the most populated state acts on his strange imaginings and paranoia, the residents of that state and elsewhere might believe the hysteria. When the Governor and Attorney General of the fourth most populated state in the union say they are ready to fight with the incoming presidential administration, they are instilling fear in the population. Fearful people are quick to fight even when there is no real fight to be had.
Imagine if “red states” acted like this after Joe Biden was elected! The liberal press would be relentless in confronting state officials about the absurdity of their behavior. But when “blue states” act the fool, the liberal press commiserates with the liberal lunatics. When the Governor of the sixth most populated state threatens the incoming president with incendiary public statements such as “You come for my people, you come through me” he is activating the Trump 2025 opposition in his state.
It’s going to be hell, but I do believe conservative Americans are now ready to fight back if necessary. As we get closer and closer to January 6, 2025, as well as January 20, 2025, I expect violence on the streets to increase. I hope I am wrong.
