Ed Haas attended Mt. Penn High School in Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania whenever he felt like it. He has a GED from the State of North Carolina to prove it. Haas joined the United States Marine Corps because a judge gave him a choice in 1982 – 1 year in jail or 4 years in the service. As an underdog over-achiever, Ed served 10 years, 4 months. He was an airframes technician on the AV8B Harrier Jet as well as the A-4 Skyhawk. Haas also served as a Marine Corps Drill Instructor during the Gulf War. According to Myers-Briggs, Haas is an ENTJ personality overloaded with abrasiveness when required. He enjoys arguing a case and making a point. Being misunderstood is one of his least favorite things.
